We build the tools creators wish existed.

A solo-founded company building AI-native tools for media creators. Currently shipping NexClip AI — Topic-Based Editing for long-form video.

01 — The story so far

Fourteen years on the same problem.

In 2012, I was editing video for a living and kept running into the same problem: there were no media asset management tools built for prosumer creators. Enterprise MAM systems cost hundreds of thousands. Consumer tools didn't exist.

I spent six years trying to build it myself — a general-purpose media player on ffmpeg, PostgreSQL-based metadata sharing over LAN. In 2018, I hit the limits of what one person could build alone and stopped.

I founded Cyberseeds in 2019 to carry the work forward. Five slow years of nights-and-weekends development followed — plus a pandemic. I shipped MediaQue v1 in 2024. Few users, later pulled. But I learned what video pros actually need: not "switching between clips," but finding the right moment in long recordings.

That insight became NexClip AI. And in early 2025, something changed — I started using AI-assisted coding, and the velocity of what one person could build shifted fundamentally.

03 — Why now

Three things converged in 2025.

Topic-Based Editing wasn't possible three years ago. It's possible now because three foundations arrived at the same time.

ASR accuracy crossed the threshold.

Modern speech recognition reached 95%+ word-level accuracy in multiple languages — including Japanese — within the last twelve months. Without reliable transcription, there's no reliable topic extraction.

Apple Silicon unlocked a new class of creator tools.

M-series chips made it practical to handle video processing locally alongside AI-powered workflows — no enterprise hardware required. NexClip AI v2 will push this further with fully local NLP.

AI-assisted coding changed solo-founder economics.

Work that would have taken me five more years suddenly took twelve months. Four commercial products shipped in 2026 alone.
