MediaQue – Manual

Interface

The MediaQue window has three areas: the Media View area, the Media List area and the Media Detail area.

Media View Area

The Media View area comprises the controller and two viewers: the Source Media viewer and the Program viewer.

  • Source viewer: This is a viewer with playback controls and a simple audio mixer that displays the currently selected source media on the media playlist.
  • Program viewer: The viewer displays the current program output.
  • Viewer Area controller: This controller has the Clear, Queue, Exit, and Program Output buttons.

Media viewer

The Source Media viewer and the Program viewer have several common parts, such as the Audio controller, Media Title label, and Media Time Code labels: Current TIme Code label and Remain Time Code label.

Viewer Area controller

This controller has the Clear, Queue, Exit, and Program Output buttons.

  • Clear button: Clear the media in the Source viewer.
  • Queu button: Move the media from the Source viewer to the Program viewer. The video media in the Program viewer starts playback immediately.
  • Exit button: Remove the media from the Program viewer. If the media is a video and playing, it will automatically stop and clear the video.
  • Program Output button: Toggled to display the program viewer’s media on a separate presentation window or an external device. Use the popup button to select the type of destination.

Media List Area

The Media List enables you to organize your media items.
You can change the order of each item by dragging and dropping them.

  • Auto List Button: Toggle to enable automatic list function.
  • Source Viewer Place indicator: Indicates the media item placed in the Source viewer.
  • Program Viewer Place indicator: Indicates the media item placed in the Program viewer.
  • Outer selector: Allows you to select ‘Exit’ or ‘Stay.’
  • Loop setter: Enable control over the loop setting.

Context Menu

The context menu enables the use of a variety of very useful commands. To display the context menu for a media item, press [Control] and click or right-click on the item using the mouse.

  • Show in Finder: Displays the item’s location on the desktop.
  • Import Media…: Shows the open panel to import items.
  • Rename…: This command allows you to update the name of the selected item.
  • Delete: Deltes the selected item.
  • Duplocate: Duplicates the selected item.
  • Relink: Relinks the selected item.

Media Detail Area

The Media Detail area displays the media item’s metadata, such as file path, media resolution, data size, and media formats.
